Oct. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The Pittsburgh Chapter of The National Canine Cancer Foundation is proud to host the Inaugural Pittsburgh Bark and Bowl presented by Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center.

Continuing on the quest to raise awareness that 1 in 3 dogs will be diagnosed with cancer and it is the leading natural cause of death in canines, the Pittsburgh community is bringing the highly successful Bark and Bowl to AMF Noble Manor Lanes for the first time!  Over the past 2 years this National Event has hosted thousands of bowlers and raised and raised over $175,000!

Friday November 9th from 7-10PM we let the dogs out at AMF Noble Manor Lanes.   Lace up your bowling shoes (if they haven’t been chewed up!) and join all the dogs bowling for a cure.  Sign up your team at, email your team page or share it on Facebook, Twitter or in your office with our team posters.  Your goal to bowl is $500 per lane, with special recognition and prizes for teams that raise $1,000.  You can have as many on your lane as you wish, but 6 bowl comfortably.

Team photos on the “Pink carpet”, great music, Rock N Glo-Bowl lighting over 32 teams and 250 bowlers striking out Cancer.  Win awesome raffle prizes, try our split the pot lane and everyone goes home with a Bark and Bowl tee shirt in their stuffed Whole Foods gift bag complete with HALO for Pets dog food, Modern Dog magazine and more!
