What’s So Great About Google Plus?

Oct. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- It’s really only one tiny little button.  One little “Plus 1” button.  Does it really make a difference in the business marketing world?  If it does, what difference does it make?  What’s so great about it?  Is there something that makes Google Plus stand out above the rest of the social media sites?  Why would I choose Google Plus?

Well let’s see. You can admit that Google Plus has really taken off like a rocket.  It’s amazing actually how this little Google experiment could explode into one of the top social media platforms in such a short period of time.  So let’s talk about what Google Plus can do for your business.  What Google Plus does is it essentially differentiates good web pages from bad ones.  When Google Plus users read a good one, they click the little Plus 1 button to show they like it and share it with their circles.  It really acts like a Facebook Like button.  It does however have one other essential element that Facebook Like buttons don’t have.  It has the power to influence the hierarchy of Google search results and page rank.  Google actually acknowledges Google Plus as a reliable source that affects your site’s relevance which you know contributes a great deal to your page rank. That is a huge “Plus” for those striving to improve their page rank.

I guess that answers the above questions. It does make a substantial difference in the business marketing world.  The fact that your page rank is affected by Google Plus makes it great tool to utilize.  I also believe that this essential factor is what makes it stand out above  the rest of the social media sites and makes it a game changer in the realm of Social Media Marketing.  I am not saying get rid of the other social media accounts and just use Google Plus.  I wouldn’t do that.  I would however, use them all in conjunction with each other.  Link them and get the most out of all of their benefits.

In short, Google Plus is definitely a game changer in your social media marketing efforts.
