Faithbuddy Receives Provincial Funding to Develop Privacy Management Technology

Faithbuddy, a developer of social networking software and technology that provides services aimed at faith-oriented communities, has received $15,000 in development funding from the Province of Manitoba.

Oct. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Manitoba, Canada--- Faithbuddy, Inc. (Faithbuddy), a developer of social networking software and technology, has received $15,000 in development funding from the Province of Manitoba.  The funds were awarded through the Concept Development Stream of Manitoba’s Commercialization Support for Business Program.

“The province has been especially supportive of our work in the area of privacy control,” said Trent Coroy, President of Faithbuddy.  Faithbuddy’s leading edge approach to privacy management gives social network users greater and more intuitive control over how their information is shared, and enables safer online environments for young users.

Adam Munia, project manager for the provincial program, said, “Through programs like Commercialization Support for Business, the Province of Manitoba is making it possible for ventures like Faithbuddy to develop new technologies and move them towards commercialization.”
