Ultimate Cigar Experience Coming to Hamburg, Pennsylvania

Oct. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- From the grand staircase to the overstuffed leather chairs, from the BlendLab to the full-service bars and lounge, everything about Cigars International’s new Super-Store in Hamburg, Pennsylvania has been designed to provide the ultimate experience for cigar enthusiasts.

Scheduled to open to the public on the first week of November, the majestic structure is America’s largest free-standing cigar store and will become a favorite destination for people who appreciate the finer amenities that go along with a long, relaxing cigar-smoking session, says CEO Craig Reynolds.

The Super-Store is a logical undertaking for Cigars International, one of the largest premium cigar retailers in the country, to expand its retail footprint. With two successful locations in Bethlehem (Northampton County), CI has seen its sales double since 2009, says Reynolds.

“What we do is provide value for a person who is passionate about cigars,” he says. “It’s becoming more and more difficult for our customers to find a place to enjoy their hobby. What we’re doing is providing a place to come and relax, be with fellow cigar smokers, and enjoy their hobby and passion.”

The Super-Store will take that philosophy to a new level. Experienced associates will help customers choose from the nearly 700 brands and a half-million cigars on site, giving them a “kid in a candy store” experience. Two full-service bars, lounge, pool table, TV monitors, live music and special events “will deliver a customer experience unlike any other,” says Reynolds.

Frequent special events geared to cigar smokers are planned.

The sheer size of the Super-Store and the selection of cigars will be stunning. “People are not used to a cigar store of that magnitude,” says Reynolds.

It’s no coincidence Cigars International decided to locate its Super-Store in Hamburg., just across from Cabela’s, the outdoor retailer that brings millions of customers a year to its store. While there is no direct synergy, Reynolds says customer demographics for the two businesses overlap considerably.

“If you are passionate about cigars, this is one place that needs to be on your ‘must see’ list,” says Reynolds. “It really is one of the great wonders of the cigar world.”
