Jill Merriam of Key Hyundai Joins Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH)

Oct. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Jill Merriam, Dealer for the People® and owner of Key Hyundai of Manchester and Key Hyundai of Milford, recently accepted a position on the Board of the Connecticut non-profit, Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH), founded by a Key Hyundai vendor and friend Rick Thibadeau.

Jill Merriam is honored and humbled to add Medical Aid to Haiti (MATH) as a personal cause as well, after being invited to join a week long mission trip to Haiti.

MATH's tireless efforts to empower the local community was something I was honored to witness firsthand, and it inspires me to do what I can to help their mission succeed."

Medical Aid to Haiti committed to assisting Haitian people

The mission of MATH (http://medicalaidtohaiti.org/) is to provide a consistent, continuum of primary care to Haitians through a mobile medical clinic, that visits four sites a week in and around Port-au-Prince.  In addition, MATH supports four medical missions a year to bring down supplies and sub-specialties. MATH has a budget of about $75,000 a year and hires Haitian doctors, nurses and administrators: Haitian’s helping Haitians, providing medical services to almost 10,000 people a year.

Jill Merriam has proudly joined the board of Medical Aid to Haiti, and is honored to share her business, finance and personal branding expertise to elevate MATH and enable the organization to grow their resources, reputation, and outreach.

About MATH (Medical Aid to Haiti): MATH, formed in 2009, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that sponsors medical missions to Haiti and, most importantly, sponsors a Haitian-staffed mobile medical clinic that operates in and around Port-au-Prince.
