PlattForm to present at the MAPCCS and KAPCCS Fall Conference

Oct. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- PlattForm Advertising, a leading Internet marketing and enrollment-solutions provider for the postsecondary education industry, will present at the Missouri and Kansas Association of Private Career Colleges and Schools (MAPCCS and KAPCCS) Fall Conference, held Oct. 18-19 at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in North Kansas City, Mo.

The presentation, “Death of the Desktop: Shifting Your Marketing Plan for Mobile,” will be given by PlattForm’s Director of Digital Media, Pete Amerio, and its Associate Director of Client Services, Casey Liddle, at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 19.

According to a Gartner study, mobile devices are estimated to overtake PCs as the most common way to access the Web by 2013. Amerio and Liddle will provide conference attendees with valuable information on how to adapt their marketing strategy in order to remain competitive in the mobile space.

“Mobile is no longer the future of education marketing – the shift from desktop search to mobile is happening now,” said Amerio. “Because the mobile landscape will continue to evolve and expand, especially in the education space, it’s imperative to build a marketing plan that effectively reaches students where they’re searching.”
