His fellowship training was at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York/University of Connecticut and Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Garely is a member of numerous professional societies, has served on the Board of Directors for the American Urogynecologic Society, and is a highly regarded international lecturer and author. Dr. Garely is an oral examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Garely was the Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and here at South Nassau. He is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai and active in their accredited fellowship program.
