-- Himalayan adventure travel company One World Trekking has announced that starting in 2013 it will begin offering six options to visit the Ladakh and Zanskar regions of northern India. These additions to the One World Trekking trip collection will provide new and unique experiences for trekkers of all abilities and ambition.
Perhaps the most exciting news is that with its new expanded line-up in India, One World Trekking will now be offering options to visit all of the Himalayan regions. Over the past 24 years, the company has been providing amazing travel experiences across the world’s great mountain areas, and continues to create new and unique itineraries into the remote corners of South Asia. Hikers will have the option to visit remote Hindu and Buddhist villages, cross high mountain passes, visit ancient monasteries and walk beneath the most beautiful mountains in the world. One World’s new India treks will range from 14 to 21 days in length and can be customized to fit schedules and budgets.
The list of new trips include the Markha Valley Trek, Across Zanskar Traverse, the Darcha to Padam Trek, the Sham Valley cultural hike, the Rupshu Valley Trek and the Kinnaur and Kailash pilgrimage circuit trek. With new itineraries being created each month, One World Trekking is certain to have a hiking vacation for you.
“I think it is safe to say that One World has a hiking holiday for everyone”, says OWT director Andy Crisconi. “Whether you enjoy a hardcore adventure or a more of a cultural experience, we can provide a group or custom trip you're looking for and at a competitive price”, Andy continues.
