New Online Auction Shopping Site Goes Live For Team AMVETS Thrift Stores In California
Non-Profit Veterans service group now offers discount shopping everyday in-store and from the comfort of home. With new auction site, Team AMVETS Thrift Stores now offer multiple ways to shop below retail, all while helping American Veterans.
Online only a week, the E-Bay style auction site has been received with very positive reviews and growing sales, according to Scibilia. He continued, “We have already had sales and bids from all across the country, and with new items posted daily, we expect that shoppers will check in with us weekly or even daily looking for new treasures and collectables.”
Team AMVETS Thrift Stores business of collection and sale of donated goods employs over 350 people and the proceeds from the sale of these new and lightly used goods support programs that directly assist over two million men and women veterans and their families throughout the State of California. According to Jim Pidgeon, President of AMVETS Dept. of California Service Foundation, “We are pleased to welcome this new in-home addition to our shopping experience for our stores throughout California. Team AMVETS is committed to serving our veterans and these thrift stores are a major source of raising funds for vital services and programs.” Team AMVETS thrift stores are open 7 days a week with a new selection of merchandise arriving in stores daily. Shoppers on the online auction site can pay for purchases with credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Authorize.net.
