“As our signature fundraiser, this event raises thousands of dollars that directly impact volunteer efforts across greater Atlanta,” notes Executive Director Patty Russart. “Plus, it is a fun way to kick-start holiday shopping.”
Over 85% of the sale products are brand new. Safety equipment, hand tools, woodworking equipment, socket sets, a variety of bits and blades in all sizes, power tools and much more will be available for purchase. A general inventory list can be viewed at www.atlanta.toolbank.org.
The oldest and largest non-profit of its kind, the Atlanta Community ToolBank supports service initiatives by providing fellow nonprofits access to over 180 different tool types. Organized service groups can borrow an unlimited amount of inventory to support everything from tree plantings to large community clean-ups. This year alone, over 30,000 local volunteers have already utilized ToolBank inventory to complete more than 2,000 service projects across greater Atlanta.
The 11th annual Tool Rush Sale is sponsored by The Best Consultant and 100% of the event proceeds directly and immediately benefit the Atlanta Community ToolBank.
Early birds can begin shopping at 8am, with a $10 entry fee. Admission after 9am is free. The ToolBank warehouse is located at 55 Ormond Street, SE - 3 blocks southeast of Turner Field, in the Peoplestown neighborhood.
