October 2012 - As the leaves change to their various autumn colours, Canadian pop artist, Lexi Tellings, prepares to rock yet another beat with her new single, entitled “Just In Case”. This song, out now, with the official video predicted viral release this fall, will bring Tellings one step closer to the release of her upcoming EP, and also pave the way for her to embark on a radio tour.
"With her hot new track, Lexi is again asking audience and industry to enter into her special world, a delicious swirl of Britney (Spears) meets Kylie Minogue Dance-Pop that leaves the listener feeling high.” Says Juno Award-nominated recording artist, Micah Barnes. “Those who have caught Lexi’s hot live show know that this smart up and coming artist has a big future ahead of her."
This release follows her second single “Buy Me A Drink”, which received close to 5,000 YouTube views as of September 1st. Her first single, "Nirvana," was featured on episode 12 of Pizza Pizza TV’s “That’s Awesome”, and Babble-On Pop TV, with close to 18,500 YouTube views. “Nirvana” also received radio airplay in Ontario and neighbouring provinces, on stations such as: 95.3 FM in Matane, QC; 104.1 FM in Medicine Hat, Alberta; and NEW 99.1 in Wallaceburg, Ontario.
“Just In Case” was co-written by Demetri James, former lead singer and songwriter of the Bratt Pack, as well as Greg Kavanagh, both of Artist-tree Music Group.
“Lexi, Dee [Demetri] and Greg have been in the studio for months, and everything they’ve written together has sounded like a masterpiece,”
From the style and success seen from Tellings’ last two releases, it can be expected that this release will be another tune the world can dance to.
“Basically, what I’m trying to do is make dance music that makes you want to get up and move, and jump into experiences with both feet. I want people to get excited, turn up the radio, roll down the windows and sing at the top of their lungs,” says Tellings.
