Oct. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Film Director Trey Haley (Tri Destined Films) and Artist Marketing Director at Boosweet Records,  join the judging panel Saturday, October 20, 2012 “Uplifting Minds II” (ULMII) one-day free entertainment conference to be held at the Celebrity Centre (5930 Franklin Avenue, Hollywood, CA 90028) from 12 noon – 5pm.  The conference will offer three intense seminars, a ‘break-out/established” artists showcase and its national talent competition showcase hosted by DJ Roc (KJLH 102.3fm).

Trey Haley (pictured) is currently promoting his Image Entertainment film release of Note To Self starring Brian McKnight, Christian Keyes (Lets Stay Together); LeToya Luckett (Preachers Kid); Clifton Powell (Ray); Eva Marcille ("America's Top Model"); Jason Weaver (Drumline); Brely Evans (Sparkle), and Richard T. Jones (Why Did I Get Married). He is also co-owner of Tri Destined Films and holds the title of President. His partner is ND Brown, CEO and producer at Tri Destined Films (www.TriDestined.com). Upcoming projects include Ring My Bell starring Morris Chesnut and the remake of Flamingo Kid for Walt Disney Pictures, when he joins the production team - that includes Oscar Award winning producer Michael Phillips and Brett Ratner.

Pierre Neilly, as director of artist marketing and promotions at Boosweet Records, develops marketing strategies and supervises the implementation. The international label that has an artist roster that includes his father award winning international guitarist/actor Vernon Neilly; Brazilian guitarist Miguel Mega – currently promoting his “Coastline” release; Brazilian virtuoso/Heavy Metal guitarist Kiko Loureiro - promoting “No Gravity”; Brazilian Rock ‘n Roll guitarist Edu Ardanuy – promoting “Fire in the Sky”, and Argentina guitarist Marcelo Roacio.

Pierre Neilly will also serve on the seminar panel where he will talk about “Artist marketing” providing various artist marketing and promotion strategies that he uses for their international roster. Boosweet Records’, represented by his father Vernon Neilly -  CEO of the company who also has a signature guitar named after him - has sponsored the community event in both Baltimore and Los Angeles since 2003.

Pierre Neilly’s father, in 2011 received the “Uplifting Minds II” Appreciation Award - along with web magazine publisher Lee Bailey (www.EURweb.com) - for his continuous support.

The October 20th “ULMII” entertainment conference, presented by Boosweet Records (www.Boosweet.com), will have  DJ ROC of KJLH 102.3fm (www.KJLHRadio.com) hosting the competition showcase portion of the event. The conference starts at 12 noon with three intense seminars via a panel who will discuss “Public Relations/Media & Promotions Strategies,” “Getting Radio Airplay,” and “Artist Marketing.” At 2pm it hosts a “break-out/established artist” showcase and at 3pm the national talent competitions showcase.

There will be 10 acts competing in two of three categories – vocal, songwriting and dance. All genres of music are welcome at the free one-day conference. Five “break-out artist” will perform and the event ends in networking at 5 pm. Admission is free at the Celebrity Centre sponsored event.
