-- Kim Cunningham, president and founder of Cunningham Strategic Communications, has been selected to present, “Social Media and Marketing on a Budget for Pet Shippers,” at the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA) 2012 International Conference being held in Madrid, October 20-23.
The IPATA International Conference is the world's largest gathering of pet shipping professionals. Hundreds of pet shippers from more than 30 countries will gather at the TRYP Ambassador Hotel Madrid for the 36th annual conference.
The audience will consist of CEOs and decision-makers in the pet shipping industry. Cunningham will be introducing public relations tactics that can be implemented on a tight budget.
“Organization's have fewer resources and shrinking budgets but are being asked to do more than ever. These tough times make it can be hard for small businesses to keep their heads above water,” says Cunningham. “PR and marketing are often the first resources cut. Continuing to communicate is critical in order to remain competitive.”
Cunningham works with nonprofit organizations to plan events, train board members and staff, recruit and engage members, incorporate public relations strategies and facilitate organizational and strategic planning. Her work has won several prestigious awards, including a Communicator Crystal Award and a Bronze Anvil.
