-- Joshua S. Kangley, from Sioux Falls, SD, recently was chosen as a winner in the 2012 South Dakota State Poetry Society Chapbook Competition. He has since then published his winning collection through the Thirsty Page Press, a Sioux Falls independent publisher. His chapbook titled, I Lost Myself in the Mall then Found Myself in a Thrift Store, contains 17 original poems and also includes his original photography. Kangley states, " Some of these poems I have been working on for quite some time, others just hours. This chapbook represents a collection of my life and contains the best of the best of my work so far." Kangley goes on to say, " It feels great to be recognized for something I strongly believe in and worked very hard on, it's a great honor." The mini-book will be released in late October and will available at various venues in Sioux Falls. Information on where to find his book and how to purchase through the mail can be found at his website, www.joshuakangleypoetry.com. Joshua S. Kangley will be available for readings in the Sioux Falls area.
