Glenwood Smiles celebrates National Dental Hygiene Month

Oct. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Glenwood Smiles, a local Raleigh family dentistry is excited to announce their promotion of National Dental Hygiene Month.  In honor of this once a year event Glenwood Smiles will be promoting the event through their online presence including offering good hygiene tips on their Facebook and Twitter accounts.

“We thought this year that we might want to promote the event a little bit more than we usually we do,” says Glenwood Smiles Owner Rebecca Schmorr.  “As a dentist we know that this is an important event every year, so we thought that we would help promote this event online as much as we could.”

National Dental Hygiene month is a yearly event that takes place every month and is used to cast a good spotlight on dental hygiene issues that many of us take for granted.  This year the event is being collaborated and sponsored by the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and by Wrigley Jr. Company.

“This month you should be thinking about not just brushing your teeth but you should be thinking about, the other factors that lead to good hygiene including watching what you eat, flossing, and even using mouth washing.”

Though many people consider good hygiene a simple brushing of the teeth,  there are many factors that are factored into good hygiene including flossing and watching what you eat.
