Oct. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- The UK Usability Professionals Association (UK UPA), the British Computer Society's (BCS) Interaction Group, the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA), the Institute for Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF), The London Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and Futureheads Recruitment Ltd. have joined forces to highlight the best practice in UCD across all domains. The 2 day conference provides a key opportunity to hear from influential practitioners and explore the digital world, but all associated domains to which User Centred Design is a central component and driving force for innovation. There will be panel discussions, interactive workshops and networking opportunities, full of inspirational content and knowledge sharing opportunities.

The driving ethos behind UCD 2012 is to create an event where UCD as a concept can be explored and driven forward on the basis of its fundamental principles, rather than from the perspective of a particular medium or platform. With top notch speakers (Rolf Molich, Tom Stewart, Steve Rogers) - UCD 2012 will offer an incomparable platform for exploration of principles, strategies, tools and techniques which form the foundations of this fascinating discipline.
