Sundial Group appoints New Head Chef At Warwickshire Meeting Venue

Oct. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Sundial Group has appointed a new head chef at its gold standard Warwickshire meeting venue. Iain Miller will take up the post at Woodside with immediate effect.

Notably, Iain began his career at Woodside in 1992 as a young catering assistant. Twenty years on, he returns to the Kenilworth venue bringing a wealth of experience and accolades with him.

In his time away, he worked as Senior Chef de Parti at Simpsons Restaurant, Kennilworth (1 Michelin Star) alongside highly reputable chefs including Andreas Antona, Glynn Purnell, Luke Tipping and Andy Waters. All of whom currently have Michelin Star restaurants in the Midlands.

Following his tenure at Simpsons, he became Head Chef at Simply Simpsons, in Kenilworth, where he was awarded a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide. Most recently, he has worked alongside Andreas Antona to launch Beef restaurant in Kenilworth, and it is from there that he joins Woodside.

Iain brings to Woodside an exemplary reputation for culinary innovation. His personal style is to take classic dishes and give them a modern edge, using contemporary cooking methods such as sous-vide (water baths).

He marks his arrival with the design of an exciting new menu for the Mulberry Brasserie at Woodside, which will launch this month.
