Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA (OCTOBER 2012) – Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Akasaka will host ‘Midnight in Tokyo,’ a lounge party transporting you to Tokyo, loved worldwide for its impressive nightscape and flamboyant attractions, on October 25.

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Akasaka is characterized by the 108 masks, each with a distinctive facial expression and personality, that adorn its walls, representative of the 108 passions of Buddhist philosophy. Along with the unique masks, the modern but sophisticated interior evokes Japan’s elegant landscape, conveying a beauty distinct from that of Korea. Flowing lounge music, a live performance from a guest DJ, lucky draws featuring plentiful gifts, and various other spectacles will bring the exotic October autumn party to full swing, all inside a hall meticulously crafted to resemble Tokyo scenery. Additionally, enjoy Japanese canapé cuisine as well as sake selected by a sake sommelier. Sake sommelier Fujita Masahiko presents Asabiraki sake, a luxury alcoholic beverage rich in rice, water, and technique manufactured in the Itawe region that has received high appraisal overseas. Fujita Masahiko is a veteran sake sommelier who has been certified as a Kikisake-shi for over fifteen years. As a Kikisake-shi (sake sommelier), his role is to use his foundational professional knowledge to clearly explain the taste and scent of Japanese alcohol (sake) and recommend sake to suit the customer’s preference, condition, nature, and meal menu. Fujita Masahiko obtained a Kikisake-shi certification and is actively travelling between Japan and Korea in order to widely promote Japanese alcohol. All attending guests of the party will receive a gift of Asabiraki sake specially produced for Akasaka. If you dream of going on a novel journey on a romantic autumn night in Seoul, come count down the clock to ‘Midnight in Tokyo,’ where we will uncode the hard-to-decipher terminology written on sake bottles. The ‘Midnight in Tokyo’ lounge party will take place at Japanese restaurant Akasaka on October 25 from 9:30 pm to 1:30 am. Admission is KRW 70,000 per person, including tax and service charge. Following the Paris and Tokyo lounge parties that showcase the distinct beauty of the respective locales, the third and final party, transporting you to Beijing, will be held on November 22.
