C&I Studios Debuts Their First Feature Film, Me, You, & The Road
Fort Lauderdale Based Film Studio Screens Film for Local Film Enthusiasts Before It Hits the Festival Circuit on Saturday, November 3rd at 8pm
Executive Director, Josh Miller, states, “I think this film will surprise people. Like all our films, they aren't about entertaining the people that are watching. We talk about real issues, and we don't follow the typical rise and fall actions that normal films do. We've found that in real life some things don't work out as planned, and our films follow that same pattern. This film is a glimpse into David and Jonathon's road trip. I'm really excited to see it on the big screen.”
The cast was a compilation of local South Florida talent and New York City based actors, as well as, extras that were cast along the way—many of whom will be present for the local screening.
After the screening of Me, You, & The Road, the film will make a festival run before being shopped to distributors. Future plans for C&I Studios include a TV show called “The Distance” in the works, and another feature film slated for production in 2013.
C&I Studios will debut the film during their monthly Movie Night event on Saturday, November 3rd at 8pm at their studio located at 541 NW 1st Avenue Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 in FAT Village. The event is open to the public, admission is $1, and refreshments are available for purchase.

Me, You, & The Road is the story of Jonathon Simon and David Miles, both in their late 20′s, are completely fed up with their lives, their jobs, lack of money, and lack of inspiration. They have nothing to show for their lives, and to fix their problem, they decide to sell everything they have and go on a cross-country road trip, on 40mph scooters. Me, You & the Road is not the typical fun-loving road trip movie viewers are used to, but an art house film about the journey of two men, as they struggle to find their way through life, and what it means to truly live.
