Benny’s Chop House Introduces New Past Presidents Menu

As Election Day Approaches Benny's Chop House Will Introduce New Past President Menu Items Weekly

Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- With election season in full swing, Benny’s Chop House (444 N. Wabash Ave., Chicago; 312-626-2444) is getting into the presidential spirit with its new fall menu. Every week leading up to the election, Benny’s will offer a range of new menu items inspired by past presidents’ favorite meals.

For this inaugural week (through October 13), Benny’s Executive Chef Jonathan Lane has created dishes to honor Jimmy Carter, Abraham Lincoln and George W. Bush. For the Georgia born president, Chef Lane pays tribute to southern comfort food with Jimmy Carter’s Corn Bread Stuffed Pork Chop ($25.99). Benny’s is also paying homage to the popular 16th president, with Abraham Lincoln’s Maple Glazed Bacon ($14.99). Those in the mood for lighter fare can enjoy George W. Bush’s Deviled Egg Caesar Salad ($7.99). To finish off this presidential meal, Pastry Chef Aaron Lindgren offers guests President Barack Obama’s Horchata Sorbet ($5.99).

New specials will be added weekly as we inch closer to Election Day.  Benny’s welcomes you to its River North chop house to show off your patriotism one bite at a time.
