Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- With a career that spans sports psychology and team coaching to working as an elite international personal trainer Richard is no stranger to the world of fitness training. His direct and results-based approach has helped him to become a leading personal trainer in Kensington.

When we spoke to Richard he had just finished a 5k run and was heading off to his first client of the morning. “Fitness is something that is in my blood and it is all I want to do. I have been lucky to have worked in many different cities and with such a range of clients.”

Richard began his career as a sports psychologist for Rugby League and then turned to personal training. He brings elements of circuits, interval training and tabata to his sessions and works with every client on diet, lifestyle and habit changing. “I believe my training is all encompassing as I like to focus on every aspect of a clients health. Everything has to be working in unison to bring about lasting results. Whether I am training a busy city worker or a Kensington celebrity my approach is the same. I am a trainer who likes to see clients put in one hundred percent effort as I believe this is the only way to get the body you desire.”

Today you will find Richard working out of various health clubs in Kensington but he also specialises in home fitness where he can offer visits. “I find this sort of training the most fun as it doesn’t rely on the typically gym machines that most people are used to. I love working with kettlebells or medicine balls and I find that most clients have got into bad habits from using many of the gym machines. I focus on helping them to recover their body alignment, posture and core strength and in so doing I help clients to not only lose their unwanted bodyfat but to improve their strength and reduce back pain and injury.”
