Oct. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- The Timeshare Association (Timeshare Owners and Committees), also known as TATOC, has published the autumn issue of its Sharetime magazine for all timeshare owners, TATOC members and affiliates.

This is the eleventh issue of the magazine and the online version is now available to download for free from the Sharetime magazine website (http://sharetimemagazine.com). Printed copies of the magazine are also available and will be distributed to all TATOC individual members, member resorts, affiliates and key industry players over the next few days.

The Sharetime magazine and website are kindly sponsored and supported by some of the industry’s leading companies including Aroma, Confused About Timeshare, Club La Costa, Dial An Exchange, Merlin Software, Resort Recoveries, RCI and Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket.

This issue of the magazine is filled with industry news, stories and features. We hear from three owners who explain why they love their timeshare, find out why owners decide to join their resort committees and ask Dan Visser from Langdale about the resort’s environmental policies and marketing innovations.

TATOC is supporting the first International Timeshare Appreciation Day on November 1, 2012 so we find out what event organiser and regular Sharetime columnist, Lisa Ann Schreier, hopes to achieve.

We also hear from some of the industry’s leading players. RDO and Hilton’s Richard McIntosh gives us his view of the industry, Diana Aitchison from Nexus is the first to feature in our new ‘Women At The Top’ article and we hear what life is like in the typical day of Roy Caligari from Resort Recoveries, one of the industry leaders in debt recovery.

Dial An Exchange’s Francis Taylor provides more advice for those thinking of exchanging to Australia and New Zealand and we have part two of our Australian road-trip.

There is also a round up of news from our resort members and affiliates and there is a review of a visit to TATOC member resort Stouts Hill. Finally Terry Lee from LiveShareTravel shares his passion for luxury travel.

Harry Taylor, TATOC executive chairman and CEO said: “The mission of TATOC is to safeguard and enhance the holiday experience of timeshare owners and we believe that one way of doing this is by providing owners, the general public and other media with a positive but truthful vision of the industry. Sharetime magazine helps us do this and we are delighted that this latest edition continues to provide good news from the industry. Once again, we would like to thank our sponsors and advertisers as without them this magazine could not be produced and distributed.”

Sharetime magazine is available to read online in digital format from its own dedicated website. To view the magazine, visit www.sharetimemagazine.com.

The aim of Sharetime magazine is to provide a positive image of the industry to both timeshare owners and the general public. Sharetime magazine supports the efforts of TATOC to promote timeshare, protect consumers from scammers and to secure the future of a legitimate industry for its members to continue to enjoy. The digital format allows this message to be spread even further.

Formed in 1989 TATOC is the only elected consumer association representing the interests of timeshare owners in Europe.  There are over 95 member resorts located across Europe giving TATOC access to over 400,000 timeshare-owning families.

The mission of TATOC is to safeguard and enhance the timeshare holiday experience for existing and prospective users and to be the voice of owners. In recent years, TATOC has focused not only on increasing the membership base but also raising the profile of the Association, establishing TATOC as the recognised voice of the timeshare consumer and an informed point of contact. The Association is now a regular contributor to the consumer press and works closely with the UK’s Trading Standards offices, the police and other authorities.
