Gulfside Regional Hospice To Hold Community Memorial Services

Oct. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- To honor Gulfside Regional Hospice patients who have recently passed away, Gulfside will host two community memorial services during October.

The first memorial will be held on Friday, Oct. 12 at Trinity Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs, located at 4651 Little Road in New Port Richey. In east Pasco, the memorial will take place on Friday, Oct. 19 at First Assembly Church of God, located at 36322 State Road 54 in Zephyrhills. Both services will begin at 3 p.m.  

“Gulfside Regional Hospice continues to provide services to families after the death of their loved one,” said Sonia Quinones, director of bereavement and volunteers. “Our bereavement staff is here for families after a death through support groups and counseling, which is provided free of charge to everyone in the community. The community memorial services are another way we honor the memory of our patients.”

Gulfside Regional Hospice holds community memorial services to honor and memorialize patients through song, readings and stories. The theme of the services this year is “Peace” and each person who attends will receive a handcrafted dove in memory of their loved one. The community memorial services are open to the public, and refreshments will be served after each service.
