Oct. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- "We chose Alan Draven as the author because just like Heroes of the North, he has created is own, well-rounded Universe with his novels and short stories set in the world of Bitternest. He is also a fellow Montrealer and we like to support local talent if we can. And he is also a nice guy, which helps a lot too! Seriously, we are very excited with this collaboration and we think that Alan's voice will bring a lot to our Universe and characters, while allowing us to expand in different directions.", says Christian Viel, Heroes of the North producer and co-creator. "The novel will delve further inside the Heroes of the North Universe in a fashion that is not entirely possible with the comics and the videos - novels allow us to visit the character's minds and explore psychological paths that are not easily approachable via other mediums. And that is what makes it so exciting for us, from a storytelling standpoint!" October Dawn will be set in a context reminescent of the Cold War, amongst a tapestry of political tensions, international espionage, and the kidnapping of the Quebec prime Minister. Dark ancient secrets will come to the surface as several forces will clash in a mad bid for power, control and domination...

October Dawn will hit bookstores everywhere, amazon.ca and the Heroes of the North store in late spring 2013. We hope you will join the adventure and enjoy this new voice in the Heroes of the North Universe!
