ACN Welcomed 20,000 Independent Business Owners to Charlotte International Event

Oct. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The streets of Charlotte were filled with Independent Business Owners (IBOs) this past weekend as ACN, the world’s largest direct seller of telecommunications and essential services, hosted its International Training Event at Time Warner Cable Arena September 28-30. Almost 20,000 IBOs from around the world partook in extensive training and heard from top-producing leaders and motivational speaker John C. Maxwell.

ACN’s International Training Event was not only beneficial for IBOs, but for the city of Charlotte as well. The last two ACN events that have been hosted in Charlotte have been estimated to generate $13.8 million for the local economy. “The Charlotte Regional Visitor Authority was pleased to welcome ACN’s Independent Business Owners to Charlotte once again. We are extremely thrilled to have one of our local companies continue to showcase the city by bringing one of their marquee events to their hometown, ultimately supporting our economy and the many hospitality jobs in our community.” said Mike Butts, Executive Director of Visit Charlotte.

ACN’s International Training Event also had a profound impact on its global charity, the Ronald McDonald House Charities, by raising $122,826 through donations from generous IBOs and ACN matching funds.
