Wet Willie’s To Host Second Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Party On October 13

Oct. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Savannah- Wet Willie's, an award-winning national chain of daiquiri bars and full-service restaurants, will host the Second Annual Koozies for Boobies Breast Cancer Awareness Party on Saturday, October 13 from 8 p.m. until closing at the Wet Willie’s locations at 101 E. River St. in downtown Savannah and 16 Tybrisa St. on Tybee Island. Both events, which will be held in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, are free and open to the public.

“We invite people to come out and celebrate for a cure,” said Emily Dickinson, director of Marketing and Human Resources for Wet Willie’s Management Corp. “Please join the fight against breast cancer and support our effort to raise awareness about this disease which touches so many lives.”

At the Koozies for Boobies party, Wet Willie’s will donate 10 percent of all sales to a breast cancer awareness charity. Raffle tickets will be available for $1, offering the chance to win a $100 Wet Willie’s Gift Card while supporting a great cause. The raffle winner will be announced at 10 p.m. and must be present.

All weekend long (October 12-14), Wet Willie’s will distribute pink beads and pink jelly wristbands for a recommended minimum $1 donation, with proceeds being donated to a breast cancer awareness charity. Wet Willie’s will also donate $5 from the sale of pink koozies and $1 from the sale of pink coolies (Velcro® drink container wraps) throughout the entire month of October at all Wet Willie’s locations throughout the United States.
