ActiveSignal Ltd is releasing its new therapeutic product, Skin Marvel™, at Salon International 2012 at the ExCeL Centre in London, October 13-15. Skin Marvel™ brings biology to beauty by stimulating electrical activity between individual cells and their environment to promote good blood supply and to remove blockages. It does this using patented Smart Cell Signal™ technology which provides a constant stream of virtual electrolytes that pulse millions of times per second, indicating a plentiful supply, whilst releasing nothing physical into the body. Electrolytes are the essential building blocks of life and, if any part of the body thinks it is losing them, it will lock up the supply it has. This leads to imbalanced activity in the skin, in particular, and a consequent loss of homeostasis.

ActiveSignal Ltd is a scientific research company based in Abergele, North Wales. Its principal area of study is the aetiology (or the cause, origins and evolution) of chronic diseases. In Western Europe nearly four out of five people who die do so earlier than they otherwise would be expected because they suffer from a chronic disease. Conventional drug treatments are only capable of managing the symptoms of these diseases and, typically, they have to be taken in increasing quantities and combinations as the patient gets older. ActiveSignal believes that only a close study of the mechanisms of the human body, and what goes wrong prior to chronic diseases developing, will lead to finding ways of resolving them. This belief has led to a unique research project over the past fifteen years.
This research centred on the study of electrolytes and the role they play in the way that the body functions. Electrolytes are substances containing ions (atomic particles) in cells, blood and other organic materials in the body that make the substance electrically conductive. Electrolytes help to control fluid levels, maintain pH levels and ensure the correct electrical potential between nerve cells that enables the transmission of nerve signals. They can be regarded as the body’s messengers and they play a very important role in maintaining health. Cells exchange electrolytes through a process called osmosis that ensures that every cell is in balance with every other. The body defends osmosis in advance of all other functions and it could be called the essence of life.
All cells in the body have dedicated channels for each type of electrolyte and the transfer of these in and out of cells is the basis of energy, growth, repair and healing and many other functions. Evolution of human beings was based on the assumption that the supply of electrolytes would be scarce and each part of the body would act independently of other parts to conserve them if it perceived a shortage. If there are shortages or excesses of electrolytes this can lead to chronic conditions. These affect most people as they get older, particularly people who are poorly habituated because of inappropriate diets, lack of exercise or poor stress management.
With an understanding of the problem, ActiveSignal developed Smart Cell Signal™ technology to correct these imbalances. This is distributed through the body by capsules that are taken every day or, in some cases, by the application of signalling patches. These capsules provide a constant stream of virtual electrolytes that pulse millions of times per second, indicating a plentiful supply, whilst releasing nothing physical into the body. Once the essential balance or homeostasis has been achieved the chronic disease may be expected to diminish.
Skin Marvel™ is a food supplement made under EU regulations and only contains ingredients that are generally regarded as safe. Because it works using cell signalling, it is impossible for there to be any adverse side effects. Good skin health comes from deep within and it does not matter which products we apply to our skin, hair, or nails if we are not healthy on the inside. Skin Marvel™ works 24 hours every day to promote balance, providing our skin with a good supply of blood and oxygen as well as improved waste removal, to keep our skin, hair, and nails healthy all the time!
As with skin, hair quality can start to diminish in the mid thirties. Part of this is a loss of hair colour and of the natural oils that keep hair shiny and bouncy. Everything that is important about hair health occurs below the skin, in the hair follicle. Oils are produced in the sebaceous glands and colour comes from melanin produced in cells called melanocytes within the follicles. Like every other part of our skin, these cells need adequate supplies of oxygen from the capillaries and moisture and cooling from the sweat glands. Without these, the necessary cells will not work properly and, eventually die. It does not matter how good the products are that we put on our hair, if the essential hair root quality is not maintained, our hair can never be perfect. Skin Marvel™ provides every follicle with the protection it needs, 24 hours each day, to maintain hair health and quality.
Like every other part of the skin, the most important part of the nail is the bit you cant see, deep within our skin. Fingernails are formed by living skin cells that harden and become keratin. More than anywhere else in the skin, fingernails are a good indicator of health and the colour or texture of our nails may indicate problems elsewhere in the body. Skin Marvel™, by providing a continuous supply of nourishment and oxygen, helps to improve and maintain nail health producing strong clear nails.
Skin Marvel, taken daily, keeps skin, hair and nails looking young and beautiful.
