Oct. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Eisner Award Hall of Famer Neal Adams, winner Bernie Wrightson and nominees Humberto Ramos, Art Thibert, Alex Saviuk and Matthew Sturges are among the more than 200 comics creators scheduled to attend Wizard World Austin Comic Con, Oct. 26-28, 2012, at the Austin Convention Center.  

Adams (“Batman,” “Green Lantern”), Wrightson (“Swamp Thing,” “Detective Comics”), Ramos (“Amazing Spider-Man,” “Impulse”), Thibert (“X-Men,” “Iron Man”), Saviuk (“Stan Lee's Mighty-7,” “The Flash”) and Sturges (“Jack of Fables,” “JSA All-Stars”) will be joined by special guests Will Conrad (“Stormwatch,” “New Avengers”), Jim Cheung (“Avengers vs. X-Men,” “Wolverine”), Michael Golden (“Batman,” “Spider-Man”), Mike McKone (“Avengers,” “Fantastic Four”), Arthur Suydam (“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”) and Greg Horn (“Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark,” “Wonder Woman”) in a star-packed Artist Alley that features international, national and local talent.

The star power among the creators is matched by the standout celebrity list attending the event, including eight stars of the popular series “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” who will gather for their first 25-year U.S. reunion.  The legendary Patrick Stewart, who portrayed the stern, determined Captain Jean-Luc Picard leads the “TNG” crew, while Eliza Dushku (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” True Lies), WWE® Superstar CM Punk®, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino (“Jersey Shore”) and Dean Cain (“Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” “90210”) pace the roster.

Wizard World Austin Comic Con, produced by Wizard World, Inc. (WIZD.PK), will bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more.  Admission is free for kids 10 and under, and Sunday, October 28, is “Kids Day,” with an array of programming specially designed for children.
