Oct. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Gwyn Robert's new exhibition 'Broader Horizons' has already shown strong sales after it's recent opening at Fosse Gallery in the Cotswolds. UK and international interest is high, with sales in the UK, Australia, Montenegro and Norway.

As well as his sought after Welsh landscapes, Roberts has ventured to new locations including The Lake District, Scotland and Cornwall resulting in an inspiring exhibition, aptly titled 'Broader Horizons'. Painting with thick oil paint, Roberts' pieces show powerful, atmospheric landscapes, from moody, rocky Welsh mountains to brooding Scottish glens.

Born in 1953 in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Gwyn Roberts' great love for Snowdonia and the ruggedly dramatic Welsh coastlines have always had a huge influence on his work. He finds great inspiration in the ever-changing light on the sea and rocks. This ability to capture these dramatic, atmospheric scenes has continued to impress in his new-found locations.

Roberts has exhibited throughout Wales and the west of England and has work in many private collections in Britain and abroad. 'Broader Horizons' is his third one man show at Fosse Gallery Fine Art in Stow-on-the-Wold, Cotswolds. Founded in 1980, Fosse Gallery has handled some of the most prestigious contemporary British artists in the last thirty years.
