Hydracrat Choose Mincon Hammers From Rock Drill Engineering

With the exploration sites tackled by Hydracrat often located on either soft peat bogs or rough moorland, the company has developed a range of "Hycat" rigs, designed to minimise environmental damage and capable of accessing across even the most arduous terrain.  The Hycats are designed and constructed to drill to a depth of 200mts quickly, using 120mm drilling systems.  

Currently, almost all the drilling work carried out by Hydracrat uses DTH systems and Mincon hammers, for operations ranging from shallow openhole or cored boreholes, through to large ground water abstraction wells of 600mm diameter to over 200m deep.
