Mary has written and illustrated other children's books.  "Who Needs Spots Anyway?" is a story about a ladybug and her mother.  Catie is a litle ladybug who realizes when she starts school that she is different from other ladybugs:  she doesn't have any spots.  Catie slowly begins to build her self-esteem and beautiful things happen to her.  She learns that everyone is different and how wonderful life is.  This book is available in hard copy and as an eBook through Smashwords.

"Memoirs of a Cat" is her third children's story told in poetry form.  It is a whimsical cat-narrated auto-biography.  An interpretation is also told for humans.  It is a funny story about a cat who believes she is queen of the home and learns to find companionship with a kitten when the people decide to add to their kingdom.  Mary is almost complete with a sequel to this funny tale.  "Memoirs of a Cat II -- Fun at the Jersey Shore" should be released in the upcoming weeks.  This story follows the cats through their usual antics while vacationing at the New Jersey shore.

Mary is in the process of writing a journal detailing the loss of her husband.  This book will be named "The First Time Without You and the Last Time With You".  This journal chronicles her life with her husband, his tragic death, and coping without him.
