Oct. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- Pinpoint Labs, a forensic software and litigation support firm, today announced the release of the latest upgrade to its SafeCopy product line of forensic software. SafeCopy 3 enables a simple and straightforward approach to remote and defensible custodial collections.

With the introduction of the Viper engine, users can now use multiple threads to reduce their copy times. Pinpoint Labs’ development staff has measured up to a 75% reduction in network copy times. With speeds consistently in the 25-50 gigabyte per hour range, SafeCopy 3 clients will spend less time collecting and culling data.  SafeCopy 3 will soon be recognized as one of the most user friendly and affordable ESI collection applications on the market today.

The goal of any electronic discovery collection is to preserve and collect files while keeping the yxpjq chain of custody intact. SafeCopy 3 users still have the popular user friendly SafeCopy interface. Additional features include saving job tickets and using variables to create a stress-free approach for gathering ESI data in a defensible manner.

In keeping with the best practices for preserving and collecting data, Pinpoint Labs’ engineers designed SafeCopy 3 to easily recover from many of the pitfalls that can occur during a collection.  It is also one of the most affordable solutions to collect and preserve project data.

As Jon Rowe, President of Pinpoint Labs and a highly experienced Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) noted: "We are very excited about the release of SafeCopy 3. It’s not only one of the easiest applications to use, but is one of the most thorough and affordable solutions.  Our staff continues to listen to and then satisfy our client’s changing needs.  We heard that they wanted additional speed, so we have provided that in our SafeCopy 3 release.”
