Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orange County Member Chosen for Women of Influence

Oct. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Newport Beach, Calif. – The Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orange County Chapter (http://www.crew-oc.org/) is proud to announce, CREW Board Member, Kristen Croxton, Executive Vice President, Beech Street Capital has been chosen as one of 45 women executives whose accomplishments were considered to be particularly impressive.

Real Estate Forum Magazine weeded through some 200 worthy nominations to choose 45 women executives as the most powerful and prominent nationwide.

As the Executive Vice President, Originations for Beech Street Capital, Kristen Croxton is responsible for originating multifamily and commercial mortgages nationwide.  With over 15 years of experience working on acquisitions and refinances in a variety of loan programs including supplemental, tax-exempt bonds, affordable forwards, senior housing, student housing and credit facilities.  

Kristen joined Beech Street Capital in July 2011 to open a West Coast office and help them accelerate national production.  In the first five months Kristen and her business partner, Greg Reed were able to originate 11 loans totaling more than $134 million along with another $136 million in closed or rate-locked transactions through the 2nd quarter of 2012.  With this accelerated success, the Newport Beach office of Beech Street Capital was able to earn its Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer license in California as of early 2012.

Kristen previously held the position of Vice President at Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage where she built her career over an 14 year period holding positions such as Loan Originator, Freddie Mac product manager and senior underwriter.  An active member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Orange County Chapter since 2005, Kristen received a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from James Madison University in Virginia.
