Author and Speaker Jane Blaufus adds ‘cover girl’ to her Growing List of Accomplishments
Jane Blaufus, Author, Speaker and Catalyst for Courageous Conversations can now add ‘cover girl’ to her portfolio as the face that launched the premier edition of DEFYeneurs magazine.
Credited with being one of North America’s Catalysts for Change, Jane is featured in their profile article. In it she shares her mission and her message for getting people to have those courageous conversations most fear so much. Based on her personal journey from sudden widow to successful author, the article highlights Jane’s motivation for writing the book, which has helped make her one of the foremost speakers and subject experts across the country. By sharing her journey in a profound and honest way, coupled with her unyielding sense of humor, Jane’s story has proven to be a catalyst for change for thousands across the country.
After 16 years of marriage, Jane’s life was turned on its head with the tragic loss of her husband to a terrible accident. This 25 year veteran of the Insurance Industry, the one who had planned so meticulously for their retirement, their future, and the unknown, was ultimately ill-prepared for the emotional fall-out her husband’s passing would have on her and her family. As a result of her journey, Jane felt compelled to share the lessons learned and offer a practical voice within a motivational and educational first-hand account that is at times both heart-wrenching and laugh-out-loud funny. With takeaway tips at the end of each moving chapter, and the most comprehensive checklist ever put together, the book has flown off the podium floor.
WITH THE [STROKE] OF A PEN™, Claim your life was released this past March and the second edition is expected out November 2012, featuring an addition chapter on dating 201, and a new forward by Senior Financial Commentator for CTV, Pattie Lovett-Reid. Jane’s article appears in the first edition of DEFYeneurs magazine which was officially launched Fall of 2012.
