Attorney Matthew D. Trollinger Joins MWCEA as Panelist to Promote Workers’ Comp Education

The law firm of Alpert Schreyer announces that workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney Matthew D. Trollinger has been asked by the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association (MWCEA) to join other esteemed panelists this year.
 
Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Waldorf, Maryland - MWCEA will be holding its 28th annual educational conference from October 14-17 in Ocean City, Maryland. As MWCEA will be celebrating 28 years of bringing the workers’ compensation community in MD together, the annual conference will once again bring different parties to one place in order to promote and foster workers’ compensation education and communication. The yearly conference has fun activities, such as a Masquerade Party and live music event, as well as informational presentations and panels on workers’ compensation issues.

Providing Education and Support for Maryland Workers

Trollinger has the distinct honor of joining one of this year’s educational panels entitled “Reasonable Expectations for Vocational Rehabilitation in a Scary Job Market” on Monday, October 15. The diverse panel of practitioners and professionals will discuss current trends in vocational rehabilitation in addition to their personal insights regarding the present economic climate and expectations for vocational rehabilitation.

Promoting the Betterment of Workers’ Compensation  
The goal of the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Education Association is to promote education and collegiality among Maryland workers, employees, insurers, medical and rehabilitation providers, attorneys, and program administrators, as well as provide a forum for communication for the workers’ compensation community. Since its inception in 1984, the primary objective of MWCEA has been to provide education and support for the continued betterment of the MD workers’ comp system to the benefit of its many participants.  

In addition to its annual conference, the organization conducts other activities intended to stimulate and foster education regarding the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Act and its benefits. By coordinating efforts with the MWCEA board and the group’s participants, the goal of providing education and advancing improvements in the workers’ comp system will continue for many years to come.
