Zoot Sports Sends Winners of Shop Employee Sales Contest to Kona for Ironman World Championships

Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Seattle, Wash. – Zoot Sports (http://www.zootsports.com/), a global leader in endurance sports and makers of performance apparel, wetzoots, footwear and accessories, announced today the winners of their Zoot Shop Employee Sales Contest. The winners will receive a four-day, three-night trip to Kona, Hawaii during the 2012 Ironman World Championships.

The goal of the contest was for shop employees to earn the most Kona Points by selling Zoot gear and posting their sales to the contest page. They tracked their sales between April 1, 2012 and July 31, 2012. There were a total of five Grand Prize winners, one from each territory, based on who earned the most points throughout the sales contest.

The winners from each region include:

MIDWEST – Tom Ennessy, Element Multisport

NORTHEAST – Greg Oppman, The Runners Forum

NORTHWEST – Phil Nicholls, Island Runner

SOUTHEAST – Jerry Pegram, Tri & Run of West Orange

SOUTHWEST – Ashley Wenzel, Triple Sports Triathlon Co

“The Road to Kona contest made selling Zoot a lot of fun, it was easy because Zoot is such a popular product at Triple Sports” said contest winner, Ashley Wenzel. “I don't ever steer people to an item, but I let them try a few brands and make up their mind -- Zoot wins that contest a lot of the time, and that's what helped me win this awesome trip. I can't wait to see the Ironman World Championships!”
