Dealing with the loss of a love one...Gone But Not Forgotten can help.

Oct. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- The organizations founder is Angela Molden. She started the not for profit organization in 2008 after the death of her grandmother in 2006. She had a hard time dealing with her loss and needed help coping. Unfortunately, at that time there were few resources available to help her. To her knowledge there were no local grief counseling meetings and the online resources were all about the same, they gave you the 5 steps to coping for you to read and from there you were left on your own.

Her grandmother was gone but she was never going to be forgotten. Angela was determined to help others and help herself. She created a blog called Gone But Not Forgotten on WordPress, it was a huge success but it still was not enough, it had to be better, it had to offer the grieving more. The GBNF blog was then turned in to a web site. By turning the blog into a website there would be more freedom to bring in more features to help those that really need it.

With the new site you are able to make donates to GBNF to help us continue to help the grieving, get information on your local funeral home or cemetery, referrals on books that deal with death and coping, there is information on coping, send flowers & gifts, get in touch with life insurance agents, book hotel and rental cars just in case you have to travel to the funeral, you can get inspiring poems, scriptures and prayers to help you when preparing the funeral service, you can download forms, get the latest death news, announcements and obituaries, we even have a community forum to help those that need a friend to talk to, there is a whole lot more thank you for stop by.


To date this site has been created and maintained entirely by volunteers. As the costs of hosting and maintaining this website continue to rise, even a contribution of a dollar or two will help to maintain this important resource!
