THE GREEN PALETTE STORE ANNOUNCES GRAND OPENING IN NEW PALTZ, NY

New Paltz, NY (Oct. 01, 2012) –The Green Palette a sustainable green design furniture store, announces the debut of its new retail location in New Paltz, NY. at 215 Main Street, in the heart of New Paltz. Serving as a gateway into the world of eco-consciousness, the store will feature a collection of sustainable home fashion furnishings. The Green Palette will celebrate an official grand opening the weekend of October 13th and 14th.

The Green Palette promotes sustainable living, fostering an organic relationship with one’s natural surroundings. Behind every design is a cultivation of eco-consciousness and not merely a purchase. We showcase pieces that are sustainable and inspired by nature without sacrificing any of the beauty our customers desire in their home, work, or play space. The retail store features modern reclaimed wood furniture, indoor/outdoor salvaged art accents, such as holiday wreaths made out of remnant christmas tree branches.

Keeping in line with The Green Palette’s commitment to increase the awareness of sustainability and deepen Eco-consciousness knowledge, The Green Palette will also host “Green Minds” workshops, which are classes on creating art using recycled materials. In addition, the store will be designated as a Fair Trade Association and provide specialized demonstrations, consultations, and support for all Green activists and families. A knowledgeable and enthusiastic team of Green designers will deliver expert information and advice to create the finest customer experience.

To celebrate the grand opening of the New Paltz, NY location, The Green Palette will host a number of grand opening events.

· Saturday, October 13th at 7PM: a cocktail hour for up and coming artists
· October, 13th and 14th: 1PM to 3PM: As part of a new Green Palette series, Marc Anthony will present “Sustainable Arts: Egg Carton Cuboctahderon Project”
o After the presentation, Marc Anthony’s invites parents to bring their children and make one of their own with the materials provided.
· Sunday, October 14th at 5pm: a raffle will be held for a free piece of custom furniture
· Throughout the month of October: the artwork of Myles Emery
· Also in October: An exhibition by locally acclaimed artist Melissa Neely and her Miracle Mineral display
· Check in all month for other exciting events, including live music, food tastings, poetry readings, and other surprises.

The Green Palette complements an extensive Eco-friendly network and serves to further grow the brand in the US. At present, The Green Palette has confirmed satellite showrooms in other states to open later next year.

The Green Palette will be open seven days a week and provides customers with the opportunity to schedule private appointments and weekly classes for children of all ages.
