Every year, EML teams travel throughout the world in search of the top models of tomorrow. For the 29th consecutive year, Elite is organizing the most prestigious modeling contest in the world - offering thousands of girls between 14 and 22 years old, the opportunity to achieve their dream and join the ranks of supermodels such as Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Stephanie Seymour and Gisele Bundchen. Following countries like France, the UK and the Netherlands, the Singapore Edition of Elite Model Look (2012) is now ready to launch the nationwide search for our very own winner.

Elite Model Look Singapore – Bone Marrow Donor Programme Partnership (BMDP)
EML Singapore has adopted BMDP’s new ‘Match For Life’ program, which aims to raise public awareness of the importance of donors in the fight against leukemia and other blood-related diseases. Success goes hand in hand with philanthropy and this partnership is a clear statement of EML Singapore’s vision of ‘fashion with a purpose‘.

Launch of the Live Castings
After a very successful i-Casting launch where model hopefuls can apply via our Official Website (http://www.elitemodellook.com/sg) or FaceBook page (http://www.facebook.com/EMLSingapore), the Elite team is now conducting Live Castings that will take place at the following malls:

ARC aka Alexander Retail Centre (Central) - 13 October (Saturday)
J Cube (West) - 14 October (Sunday)
VivoCity (South) - 20 October (Saturday)
Tampines Mall (East) - 21 October (Sunday)

To take part in one of the castings, applicants must be:
• Female: aged between 14 and 22 years old; at least 172cm/5’8” tall
• Male: aged between 16 and 28 years old; at least 182cm/6’0” tall

Applicants should wear as little make-up as possible and something that shows off their shape such as skinny jeans or leggings and a basic t-shirt. Those under eighteen will need to bring a parental authorization letter.

At the end of the tour, a total of 60 contestants (40 females and 20 males) will be selected to participate in the National Casting, held on October 27, 2012. The Elite Model Look jury will then select 18 contestants (12 females and six males) to participate in the Singapore Grand Final on November 9, 2012.

The EML Singapore Journey – A dream that becomes reality...
For the week preceding the Grand Final the lucky finalists will get to have a taste of what it means to be an Elite top model – being chauffeured from one 5-star hotel to another; being made-up, styled and fitted by top professionals in the industry; undergoing catwalk training and show rehearsals that will finally culminate in a moment every aspiring model dreams of – presenting top designer collections on the runway in front of more than 2,000 people!

Attracting over 350,000 participants in more than 60 countries every year, the Elite Model Look winners of each country travel to the World Final in the final leg of this international contest. This year girls selected from 70 countries will compete for the top fifteen spots for a chance to secure a 2-year contract with the prestigious Elite international agency.
