E-911 Liability:  MiCTA will present a workshop that explains hidden liabilities that your Michigan organization may face when someone dials 911 from your facility. Rick Coy from Clark Hill, PLC will explain Michigan's new E-911 requirements, how they will impact your organization, and the liabilities your organization may face whenever someone uses your telephone system to call for emergency assistance.

Saving Money: Learn how your organization can save big on telecommunications and technology purchases, and make the most of your E-rate funding opportunities. Gary Green and MiCTA's E-rate vendors will discuss the E-rate program, changes for 2013 that your organization absolutely must know about, and how your organization can take advantage of expanded funding opportunities in the upcoming E-rate funding cycle.
