Halestorm's Halloween Horror in Stratford upon Avon

Oct. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Halestorm are most famous for their top ten hits "I get off" and "It's not you", who’s new album is ironically called "Strange case of".

The band visited the building in the heart of the historic county of Warwickshire, not knowing what to expect. They arrived just as dusk fell and the full moon started to rise. The band seemed anxious as they posed for photographs in the cobbled courtyard of the historic building, known to be very haunted.

Psychic medium Kevin Bowen was on hand to lead them through the evening and explained that the Falstaff Experience was described by the author of the best selling series Horrible Histories as the most haunted building in England with over 40 recorded spirits within its walls. It was also investigated by the cult TV programme Most Haunted a number of years ago, in which famous medium Derek Acorah was possessed within the building by the spirit of a resident serial killer.

As the lights were turned off and the medium lead them through the eerie corridors, they started to experience an uneasy feeling. Each band member had an unexplainable experience. As the evening progressed, Lzzy Hale bravely undertook a lone vigil, in which she had the sensation of having her hair stroked by unseen hands... well, she has been voted one of the 25 hottest chicks in hard rock, it seems the dead think so too!

Owners Janet and John Ford said: “we are not surprised at the outcome of the evening as we experience strange happens at Falstaffs on a daily basis. Kerrang Magazine contacted us as they wanted to use England’s most haunted building for their Halloween edition, and they were not disappointed. The band did not know what to expect, but they kept an open mind and gamely continued their investigation into the early hours. We definitely felt they had their ‘metal’ tested as it were, and they came through with flying colours. Perhaps they will write a song about their experiences one day”.

Certainly a very 'Strange case of' haunting for the four young musicians!
