National organization for child care leaders has a new look and new name

Oct. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Austin, TX – After 29 years, the nation’s leader among associations serving child care owners, directors, and administrators has a new name: the Association for Early Learning Leaders.

Formerly known as the National Association of Child Care Professionals, the Austin, Texas based organization provides a membership program for early care and education program directors and administrators, annual conference, How Successful Directors Manage TM, and the National Accreditation Commission which is the accreditation system for over 1,500 centers located throughout the United States.

“The purpose of the recent rebranding campaign was to strengthen alliances with members, centers, and vendors by offering greater opportunities for growth and excellence within the early learning field”, says Bobette Thompson, the organization’s Board President. “After three decades of leadership, we felt it was an opportune time to refresh the organization’s mission, purpose, and direction.”

The organization offers training, professional development, and resources to its center director members, while providing a national accreditation system to programs within the early childhood field.
