Nature & Feng Shui Lecture at NY State Outdoor Education Association Conference in October

Feng Shui expert and lecturer Maureen K. Calamia will present “Why Plants Make us Feel Good” at the 2012 NY State Outdoor Educator’s Conference being held at Brookhaven National Lab in Upton, NY this October.

Oct. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- “Research proves that its not just plants, but elements of the natural world that has a significant impact on our well-being,” says Ms. Calamia. In this one-hour lecture, Maureen will explain how the natural world affects us not only in a physical way, but mental, emotional and spiritually. She will give some guidance on how you can connect with your indoor environments and integrate nature indoors through Feng Shui and Biophilic design principles.

Presentation will take place on Friday, October 19th at 9:00 am at the Berkner Building.

After studying Feng Shui for several years, Maureen has integrated principles of biophilic design that is a more modern expression of the ancient discipline of Feng Shui. She is also writing a book about Feng Shui and biophilic design to be published in 2013.
