Oct. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- TOMS RIVER, NEW JERSEY—The updated 2013 Honda CR-Z was recently introduced at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and it featured refreshed styling as well as improved power and performance.

One of the most notable updates to the 2013 CR-Z is the Plus Sport (S+) boost system. Using the S+ button on the steering wheel, a driver can add power to the car’s hybrid drivetrain while sacrificing a minor amount of fuel economy. The S+ system is available when the car’s battery is more than 50 percent charged. In this mode, “When the accelerator is pressed the electric boost begins,” said Honda in a statement, “delivering increased acceleration for up to 10 seconds.”

The revamped CR-Z also features a new front bumper design and tweaked grille, as well as a new aerodynamic diffuser design on the rear. Sporty 17-inch alloy wheels, new side mirrors and new lighting complete the look.
