JUPITER Z1 for the Indonesian market

Oct. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announced the release of a new "Sepeda Motor Bebek Injeksi Kencang dan Irit Jupiter Z1" mounting fuel injected 115cc engine. This model will be introduced to the Indonesian market by the end of July 2012.

Along with Indonesia market introduction of commuter automatic transmission models "Mio J" in February and "SOUL GT" in April, "JUPITER Z1" is another model that is part of the medium term * Yamaha Motor growth strategy for strengthening product competitiveness, attraction and motorcycle market gains in ASEAN.

The "Sepeda Motor Bebek Injeksi Kencang dan Irit Jupiter Z1" inherit and develop basic performance, outstanding running performance and sophisticated design flow "JUPITER Z" and adopt new and more fuel injection for improved economy and performance costs. In addition, the subtle nuances to ride, great response and more make for a model with a very good performance for users to enjoy. The exterior has also been completely redesigned to carry out, even high-quality sporty look to the styling.

Manufacturing and marketing of the new model will be made by group company PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing.

Medium-Term Management Plan: One of the four growth strategies 3-year plan of Yamaha Motor (2010-2012) is a medium-term management strengthening product competitiveness, appeal and profitability in the ASEAN motorcycle market. It aims to be achieved by improving product appeal to (1) increase the ratio of the model showing the fuel injection system and (2) improving profitability by reducing the cost of the fuel injection system and the benefits of large scale production.
