By: EUROPEAN DYNAMICS SA This event, an initiative of DG CONNECT aims to discuss how transparency can be improved in government decision making looking at topics such as: ~How can we best measure transparency and its different forms? ~What are the key transparency- ~What is the role of technology and eGovernment applications as a means to improve transparency? ~What can we learn from Member States' experiences, e.g. what are good examples of how eGovernment improves transparency? ~Suggestions for common transparency targets. ~Barriers for establishing European (or EU-wide) Transparency Objectives. This free event is intended for Member States, policy-makers, practitioners, public administrations, eGovernment project implementers; Prospective attendees are invited to create an ePractice account (if not a current member) and register their participation by following this link.
