Mona Clayton, RN brings her Surviving the Journey Tour to Cerritos California.

Sept. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The “Surviving The Journey” Tour is one of the most highly touted speaking events in the Southern California area.  After hosting successful seminars in Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Inglewood: Author, Entrepreneur and Registered Nurse,  Mona Clayton  brings the tour to the City of Cerritos California.  

In her first speaking engagement in Cerritos, Ms. Clayton and a panel of nursing professionals will converge on the  beautiful Sheraton Cerritos Hotel, 12725 Center Court Drive, Cerritos California, On October 23, 2012 at 5:00 PM.  The seminar will take place in the Lakewood room.   Admission and Parking are free.  The “Nurses Roc” study guide will be available for $10.

Continuing with a tour that started in January 2012, Ms. Clayton has put together a program that includes an interactive approach with Q&A and panel discussion with experienced nursing experts representing various genres of nursing. This will be an exciting, informative and motivating event for anyone interested in nursing or who is actively engaged in completing the nursing program.
           
Ms. Clayton began the new year with a goal to speak to 100,000 men and women about the significant benefits of a nursing career.  In a time when many people are unemployed and having to re-train, Ms. Clayton is convinced that nursing could very well be the life changing career many people are searching for.

When Mona Clayton became a registered nurse, she did so to make a better life for her and her daughter.  The single mother was determined to show her daughter what could be accomplished through hard work and dedication.  

It has been more than 10 years since Ms. Clayton has passed her California state nursing exam and  not only has she had  a successful nursing career,  she has obtained her Bachelor of  Science degree and started her own company, Nurses Roc 2 Publishing.

“The vision of Nurses Roc 2 Publishing is twofold” states Ms. Clayton.  “To bring awareness about the nursing profession and its many opportunities and to publish books and promote seminars and workshops that will help nursing students accomplish their goals.”
