Big Trees Inc. To Acquire New, Stronger Tree Transport Truck

Sept. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- SEATTLE, CA: Big Trees Inc. (http://bigtreesupply.com/), a tree transplanting company and tree nursery in the Seattle area, has expanded their operations by acquiring a larger truck for transporting large trees for installation or transplanting.

The new Semi truck is now completely equipped to transport almost any large tree from one site to another, and will be used for all of the company’s larger transport projects, such as with trees measuring from 10 feet tall up to 30 feet tall.

Nancy Latham, owner of Big Trees Inc., stated “We’re going to miss the old International truck. That has been our mainstay for years. It’s seen us through our University of Washington work, our work planting in downtown Seattle, and innumerable large residential projects. But it seems she has decided to move on to greener pastures, so it is now time to lay her to rest. We are very excited to welcome this new, stronger truck to Big Trees Inc., and I can foresee we can now take on even larger projects than before. Big Trees has been involved in a extraction and storage project for an estate in the Clyde Hill neighborhood, and are preparing to bring the trees back into the property as the remodel work is coming to a close. There are two 8’ tall, 14’ wide Laceleaf Japanese Maple trees, weighing in around 7,000 pounds each, that will be placed back into the new landscape, as well as two specimen Pine trees. These trees will be handled and reset into their new gardens under direction of the landscape designer and the owners of the estate. It will be exciting to see the trees reintegrated into their former property. They have been in storage for a year and a half here in our nursery.
