By: University of Missouri–St. Louis The two-part, landlord education program will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on October 4 and October 11, at the World Trade Center Building, 121 S. Meramec (at Bonhomme), Room 1009, in Clayton. Topics include: determining if a property is a good investment, identifying and retaining quality tenants, leases, legal issues, marketing, codes and regulations, maintenance, budgets, business plans, bookkeeping and recordkeeping. The instructors bring years of landlord and property management experience to the class. The course costs $70, which includes a 500-page “Landlord Guidebook.” Registration is required by October 2.
