SimplyCast Awards 4 Scholarships to Local Students

Sept. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, September 27th, 2012 - SimplyCast.com, a global leader in multi-channel marketing Platform-as-a-Service solutions, today announced the four winners of the 2012 SimplyCast Ritchie Scholarship given to local students to help further their education.

Gourav Sharma, Dhivya Veerasekaran and Deanna Bru of Dalhousie University along with Mathew Stephenson of Acadia University were all awarded the SimplyCast Ritchie Scholarship. In previous years, only one student was awarded the scholarship but due to the generosity of Mr. Ritchie, three more students have been added.

The scholarships are awarded annually to high school or university/college students and are based on academic achievement, community citizenship and Equals6 network participation.

The SimplyCast scholarships are named after Mr. William Ritchie, SimplyCast's Chairman of the Board, Dr. Dawn Jutla, a professor in the Department of Finance, Information Systems, and Management Science at Saint Mary's University and Dr. Porter Scobey, a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computing Science at Saint Mary's University.
